Things To Do in Bozeman

In Bozeman:

- Museum of the Rockies: Great display of the dinosaurs that have been discovered in the Rocky Mountains

- Bozeman Hot Springs: nice hot springs right near the wedding venue. Great for kids!

- Hike the M: There is a large M on the hillside above Bozeman with a 1.4 mile loop trail that runs along it that is gorgeous to hike (it is on All Trails)

- Downtown Bozeman: fun downtown to wander with cute shops and great restaurants.


Food We Love in Bozeman

-Breakfast:

- The Western Cafe hasn’t changed in like 60 years if they want a classic feel for a local greasy spoon

- Stormcastle is probably the best local, old-school option. Great food, friendly service, Bozeman feel. Also, right next to Grannies for a must breakfast desert.

- Feed Cafe is a hip newer place with great outdoor seating.

- Jam is the hip new place with fast and good food

- Nova and Cat Eye are the old hip places that are still kicking

- Grannies Donuts is unreal. Robert has been running that little shop for at least 30 years.

Lunch / Dinner:

- Revel - one of the best

- I Hos Korean Grill

- La Tinga - great Mexican

- The Garage roof top brewery is a classic

- Blackbird- great Italian with homemade pasta

Dessert:

- Sweet Peaks- awesome ice cream!

- Aurorie Bakery- new and amazing French bakery. Often featuring 30 minute lines

Drinks:

- MAP Brewing- a must for a brewery stop. Great view of the mountains and good beer

- The Garage- rooftop brewery

- The Armory Rooftop- elevated experience, gorgeous rooftop patio with wonderful view of the patio

- The Armory Basement- Tune up- fun cocktails, often has live music

- Devils Toboggan- has the best cocktails in a really fun atmosphere


Things To Do Around Bozeman (within ~1 hour driving)

- Hiking: There are gorgeous hikes all around Bozeman and the surrounding areas! All Trails will give you a lot of options. Hyalite Canyon is a must-do hike with 11 waterfalls and beautiful views. It is 5.5 miles long, but you can choose to only hike to the first few waterfalls and then turn around to shorten it.

- Float the Madison River: It is a summer time favorite to rent an innertube and float down the Madison River. There are a number of outfitters that will shuttle you and rent you gear. Other options include white water rafting on other rivers, and stand up paddle boarding on the reservoir.

- Horseback Riding: There are a number of ranches in the area that will take you riding

- Fly Fishing: If you like fishing, the water around Bozeman will give you gorgeous views for fly fishing. There are a large number of outfitters and guides that can help you.

- Lewis and Clark Caverns- One of the largest limestone cave systems in the world, and Montana’s first state park. Entrance is first come first served, and requires a guided tour.

- Virginia City- Virginia City is now abandoned, but was once the site of one of the largest gold strikes in the USA. It’s a great place to bring kids to see the old western town, pan for gold, and learn about the history of the west.
